Production
What is your production lead times?
We work to a 12 week lead time from the creation of the design to the finished product, but this may vary depending on the complexity of the product. That said, we are a flexible company who will try to accommodate your lead times as best we can, and in our off peak you can expect us to reduce this lead time considerably.
What is the minimum for samples and bulk orders?
We can weave as little as 15m for sampling and 40m for bulk production in length.
Can we visit your Mill?
Yes, we would be happy to arrange a tour of our Mill. If you are a customer visiting our Mill Shop and are interested to find out how our beautiful products are made, then please contact the mill shop in advance of your visit so they can arrange a tour for you.
Design
Do you offer client exclusivity and confidentiality?
We respect our customers and the projects that we have worked on and do not share any information that is not freely available in the public domain.
Do you offer custom colours for your yarns if I cannot find the specific shade I am looking for?
We offer a wide range of stock service yarns. These colours are reviewed and adjusted annually. If you cannot find the specific shade you are looking for, we offer a custom colour matching service to British Standards. This includes laboratory samples and bulk dying your custom shade.
I like the qualities you have on offer but would like to develop my own artwork, is this possible?
Yes, this is possible. We have a skilled design team who can develop an archive sample or digital artwork into a woven design in your chosen quality. All that we ask, is that you provide us with the original swatch or a high-quality PDF or JPEG file to work from. Alternatively, you can work in partnership with our dedicated team of Account Managers and Designers to develop a bespoke artwork. They will explain any limitations and advise the best products which are suitable for your project.
Products
Do you supply products which are labelled and ready to go into our stores?
Yes, we have a department in the Mill dedicated to finishing your products to your specifications, whether you want to whip the edge, add your companies labels or even embroider your logo, we are happy to accommodate your requirements.
What are the advised care instructions for your products?
All of our products are recommended as dry clean only due to the delicate nature of the fibres. If necessary, spot clean with a clean, damp cloth and blot, but do not rub as this will cause fibre distortion. Should pilling appear, a cashmere comb can be used to remove any small surface pills.
Do you have any UK or Worldwide Showrooms?
We have a showroom here in Ayr, that we would love you to visit. We also have showrooms in the US, Japan and a dedicated team of Account Managers who regularly travel and will arrange a meeting at a convenient location that suits you.
